So once you’ve had your business cards designed by a professional graphic designer, and they’re on their way, you should ask yourself what the next step is.

You’re going to need something to keep them in!

A business card holder can say nearly as much about you as the card itself, but of course it is also a matter of personal taste so here are a few examples of some of the creative ways out there you can house your business cards.

Remember though, that whatever you choose the following points should be taken into consideration:

• it has to be sturdy enough to prevent damage to your cards
• it should allow you to easily remove the cards one at a time
• it must fit comfortably into your pocket (or another easily accessible space like the side pocket of a handbag etc)
• it only needs to carry a maximum of 20 cards, otherwise you will feel like you are carrying around a brick. If you think you need more than this on any given day, then get a second holder to keep in your brief case and keep both of these topped up.
