5 facts about me. 4 are true. Guess which?

  • I’m a former athlete that used to compete in the women’s pole-vault.

  • I have outrun a grizzly bear.

  • I was in a movie.

  • I have played 7 musical instruments to varying degrees.

  • I am an avid enjoyer of video games

More About Me

Fine Art was my favourite subject at school, and since there was no option for Graphic Design back in the stone ages, I circled around back to it after a brief career in the travel industry and after the advent of computer-aided design and the invention of our supreme overlord, the Adobe Creative Suite.

Initially, I focused on photography but discovered that I loved editing far more than the actual photographing. This led to me digging out my old art textbooks from high school and schooling myself in all the parts we skipped and I’ve since been working my way through a BA (Hons) Graphic Design degree to fill in all the blanks.

In between all of this, I’ve been building websites (since Yahoo Geocities!) and geeking out with each new technology that appears.

I’m a tea-fuelled creative by day, and a staff-wielding spell caster by night, and currently reside in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland.

Business & Personal Values

Kindness

Sincerity

Lifelong Learning

Neurodivergence as a strength

Kindness in all things. It costs nothing and makes everything better. The world could use more kindness.

I approach each project with the same level of sincerity. I tend not to have overlap between projects, keeping my focus on each client at a time.

Embracing new technology is core to business growth. I continuously strive to improve service offerings through continued training and research.

Utilising my knowledge of my own lived Adhd experience, and the time I spent on a panel at University to help contribute to policy around neuro divergencies, I strive to make my business as inclusive as possible and consider all manner of unique differences and accessibility in my designs.

Diversity & Inclusion Policy

  • We value diversity and inclusivity as integral parts of our business. We are committed to fostering an environment where every client feels respected and supported. We believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace benefits our team members and also helps us better understand and serve our clients and their diverse needs.

  • We embrace diversity, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, religion, ability, and socio-economic background. We welcome all, as clients for whom we wish to create meaningful and impactful design solutions that are free from bias.

  • We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities and fair treatment to all clients, and we will not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or bias of any kind.

  • We recognize that diversity and inclusion are ongoing processes, and we are committed to continuously learning, improving, and evolving our policies and practices to better reflect and serve the diverse people we work with.
